Foundation for Occupational Health and Safety (FOHS)

The Foundation for Occupational Health & Safety (FOHS) exists to:

  • Support the Jeff Lee Lectureship
  • Sponsor research, education, and the publication of scientific information
  • Provide a vehicle of support for the improvement and enhancement of occupational and environmental health and safety and the general public health
  • Disseminate the results of valuable research findings and assure a heightened quality of continuing education in occupational health and safety

Foundation History

FOHS was established in 1998 to complement the work of the American Industrial Hygiene Foundation (AIHF), which was established by the American Industrial Hygiene Association over twenty years ago. The plans of the FOHS are unique and singular. The benefits of FOHS programming will go to all within the profession and to the betterment of worker health and safety.

For more information regarding the Foundation, submit your requests at http://www.acgih.org/contact/contactgenfrm.htm.
