ACGIH® Legal Defense Fund

ACGIH® needs your support in defense of the TLV®/BEI® process. The ACGIH® Legal Defense Fund was established in 2001 to help defray the expenses associated with the three lawsuits that were filed against ACGIH® at the end of 2000. A new lawsuit was filed by the same attorney in November 2004. We have had a very favorable ruling on requests for a temporary restraining order and expedited discovery. ACGIH® believes we are in a very strong position with this litigation and your support is needed to ensure that we can bring this lawsuit to a favorable decision. The TLVs® and BEIs® are the pre-eminent occupational exposure values throughout the world. Thus, we're asking all of our valued members and supporters to consider making a contribution to the ACGIH® Legal Defense Fund so that its members, Committees, Board of Directors, and Staff can continue to promote worker health and safety.

Below is a link to the ACGIH® Legal Defense Fund Contribution Form that can be completed online, copied and mailed to ACGIH® (ACGIH®-LDF, 1330 Kemper Meadow Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45240, USA) or faxed to 513-742-3355 to lend your support to ACGIH® and its endeavors to promote worker health and safety. Your contribution is greatly appreciated. Please note that contributions to the ACGIH® Legal Defense Fund are NOT tax deductible as charitable contributions.
