About the Presenters

Gregg Grubb has served as an industrial hygienist with the State of Michigan since 1987. While working with MIOSHA, Gregg has worked in various education and training, consultative, and enforcement capacities addressing comprehensive industrial hygiene. Gregg possesses a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University. He also serves as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Michigan, School of Public Health where he teaches EHS 654, Control of Exposures to Airborne Contaminants; a chairperson, planning committee member and/or instructor with the Michigan and North Carolina Industrial Ventilation Conferences; a member of the ACGIH® Industrial Ventilation Committee; and an instructor with the AIHA Comprehensive Industrial Hygiene Review Course.

Christopher Manning, PhD received his Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and his Master’s degree and PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the Carnegie Mellon University. Dr. Manning has worked in academics and industry in the materials production and processing fields. He is currently the president and a consulting engineer with Materials Processing Solutions, Inc. based out of Massachusetts. Materials Processing Solutions provides a broad range of technical consulting to the metals and materials industry, including issues related to combustible dusts. Dr. Manning is a current member candidate of the ACGIH® Industrial Ventilation Committee.

Each registrant will receive a URL link to download the appropriate webinar materials prepared by the presenters. Materials may be duplicated for additional participants viewing the webinar at the same site. Materials will be available for download approximately one week prior to the webinar and two weeks after the live webinar date.

Test, Evaluation, and Certificate of Completion Information

Webinar Attendees Who Have Paid for the Test with Registration
Webinar attendees will be provided with a URL link to access the test and evaluation prior to the webinar. Attendees seeking confirmation of attendance from ACGIH® must complete the entire test and evaluation and mail or fax to ACGIH®. Tests postmarked within 30 days of the date of the webinar will be recorded and a Certificate of Completion will be issued in a timely manner.

Webinar Attendees Needing to Register for the Test
Attendees who would like to purchase a test and evaluation in order to receive a Certificate of Completion will be given a link to the ACGIH® website at the conclusion of the webinar, which will allow them to register and pay $25.00 to access the test and evaluation.

Attendees seeking confirmation of attendance from ACGIH® must complete the entire test and evaluation and mail or fax to ACGIH®. Tests postmarked within 30 days of the date of the webinar will be recorded and a Certificate of Completion will be issued in a timely manner. Tests received without proper registration and payment will not be recorded and will be discarded.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are not accepted for ACGIH® Distance Learning Events. However, we recognize that emergency situations do occur that may prevent you from attending the live webinar event. In such a case, please contact Ryan Peltier at 513-742-2020 or rpeltier@acgih.org to make arrangements to receive a recorded CD of the webinar. The recorded version is typically available 4-5 weeks after the event. In the unlikely event that ACGIH® cancels this webinar, your registration fee will be refunded in full. Please review the information in our webinar confirmation notice and report any discrepancies to the ACGIH® office immediately.
