About the Instructors

Gregg Grubb, CIH has served as an IH with the State of Michigan since 1987. Mr. Grubb has worked in various capacities addressing comprehensive industrial hygiene at MIOSHA. He possesses a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University. He also serves as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Michigan, School of Public Health where he teaches Control of Exposures to Airborne Contaminants; a chairperson, planning committee member and/or instructor with the Michigan and North Carolina Industrial Ventilation Conferences; Vice Chair of the ACGIH® Industrial Ventilation Committee; and an instructor with the AIHA Comprehensive Industrial Hygiene Review Course.

Jonathan F. Hale, MPA is the founder and owner of Air Systems Corporation, an innovator in the industrial pollution-control industry. Mr. Hale has also worked as an EPA inspector and permits engineer. He is the winner of two national level ASHRAE awards for excellence in energy efficient design of industrial ventilation systems and is the co-chair of the North Carolina Industrial Ventilation Conference. Mr. Hale obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Wake Forest University and a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from Appalachian State University. He is Chair of the ACGIH® Industrial Ventilation Committee.
