ACGIH Announces Release of the 2021 Two-Tier Under Study List of Substances Under Review

ACGIH has released its 2021 Two-Tier Under Study. The Under Study lists are composed of substances that have been suggested to be put under review. Each scientific committee solicits information and data, which assists in its deliberations regarding the substances, agents, and issues listed. In addition, ACGIH petitions recommendations for additional chemical substances, physical agents, and issues of concern to the industrial hygiene and occupational health communities.

Tier 1 indicates which chemical substances or physical agents may move forward as a Notice of Intended Change (NIC) in the upcoming year.

Tier 2 indicates which chemical substances or physical agents will not move forward in the upcoming year.
